Johnny Varro Solo, Trio, et al.

Johnny Varro enjoys playing solo and with his trio as well as his more conventional Swing 7. And, he frequently features another musician, even another piano player.

Johnny played solo nightly at Gatsby's in Brentwood, California, from 1987 to 1992. He has recorded solo for Arbors Records in 1998 and 2004.

Johnny had his own Trio when he lived in Miami in the 1970s. The Johnny Varro Trio has recorded for Arbors in 1992 and 2004. And, Johnny has recorded with Don Nelson, 1995, Jon-Erik Kellso, 2001, Ralph Sutton, 2001, and Ken Peplowski, 2008 (discography below).
